We've all heard the expression that "practice makes perfect." In sales however, the better expression that I've heard is "practice makes MONEY$$!!"
I recently received a new set of golf clubs for Father's Day. Of course I was initially excited because they looked new and fancy, but when I went and played golf with them, I didn't play well at all! My instinct was to simply go back to my old set of clubs but my friend Steve who's a golf pro told me that I should stick with it and that I needed to practice with them for a few months. As I played and practiced, I started to discover how much better these new clubs actually were!
For those in the real estate industry who are trying to figure out all the new technology and marketing techniques including mobile apps, social media, and efarm lead generation systems, my suggestion would be to keep practicing and playing!! Otherwise you could find yourself playing with competitors who simply have better tools and ultimately will be the ones making all the money!
